Since 1990 we’ve been servicing our Customers and community with high-quality premium meats and spit braais

We are now a Second Generation Family Business, using the skills and experience built up over almost 50 years of trading. We still have the original passion to supply our customers with great meats procured from the best abattoirs across South Africa.

We have come a long way as a business since then and now operate from our Retail Store in Reservoir Hills. Often referred to as the “Family Butcher” due to the nature and relationships we have developed with our Clients, or should we say, “Extended Family” over the years

Our inspiration came from old world butcher shops and with a focus on offering good wholesome local and fresh foods. Reservoir Hills Family Butchery (RHFB) does just that, servicing not only a very prominent Local Community, but also extending our service to Clients all around South Africa. Located in the heart of Reservoir Hills, Durban, our theme focuses around Display Counters that are a tribute to old-style Butcher Shops displaying a wide selection of fresh cut meats on offer coupled with Family-friendly service.

Along with a wide range of fresh, seasonal meats, and poultry, sourced from the outstanding local Suppliers, we sell a wide range of made in-house items like sausages, dressings, marinades and braai products. Additional services and products include custom cutting and orders and marinated specialties.

We also specialise in SpitBraais. We have been a frontrunner in this genre for close to 15 years. We provide a full onsite solution to meet your catering requirements, or you can simply hire our our Spitbraai equipment, purchase the meat and marinades from us, and enjoy the experience yourself.

Whatever your requirement, at Reservoir Hills Family Butchery, our goal is to ensure every customer, leaves with a memorable experience.
